Dire Wolf (Canis dirus) Skull Tar Pit

The Dire Wolf (Canis dirus) was more powerful and robust than any other species of canis. Its most distinctive characteristics were its massive skull and intimidating dentition, suggesting that it subdued its victims by crushing them to death in its vice-like jaws. The size of this beautiful specimen is 12" long, 7" wide and 6" high. This skull comes in Tar Pit or Antique finish.
